All about the trips
Ford's Guide Service runs trips for up to 6 people per boat. If you have a larger group, I have a network of other guides that I can call to assist on your trip. Most trips will start around daylight and finish up by noon. An average trip is about 4 hours, but that depends on the fish and what you want out of your day. On a day that we go out and catch a fast limit, I'm not going to take away from your time on the water unless that is what you choose. My goal is to make sure you have a great time and make lasting memories for years to come.
The majority of the trip is live bait fishing with shad. There are times a good bite will happen on artificial baits such as swimbaits, topwater plugs and slabs. I always have rods rigged and ready if the opportunity arises. At the conclusion of your trip, I will clean and bag all of your fish. The daily limit for striper is 10 per person and 2 of those 10 can be over 20 inches.

Where do I purchase a license?
You can purchase your Lake Texoma fishing license on the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife website.​

Deposit
Upon booking a trip, I ask for a $100 deposit to secure your day. Once a deposit has been made I will hold that day for you. If a deposit is not made, the date will remain open.

Cancellations
If you cancel a trip within 7 days of the trip date, you will have the option to reschedule or forfeit the deposit. A cancellation farther out than 7 days will be refunded. In case of a no call no show the day of your trip you forfeit the deposit and cannot reschedule without an additional deposit.
Are children allowed to fish?
Children are absolutely allowed to fish with us! Any ages are welcome to fish.
